Problem:
ERROR: AutoConfig is not executed on all Database Tier nodes to populate value for S_PATCH_SERVICE_NAME.
Solution:
To resolve the issue test the following steps in a development instance and then migrate accordingly:
1. Review ‘Section 5: Update Database Tier to Latest Code’ of Note 1617461.1 and confirm whether the required steps listed were performed.
2. If they were not, then complete the steps listed in ‘Section 5: Update Database Tier to Latest Code’.
3. Ensure the steps from ‘Section 5: Update Database Tier to Latest Code’ are completed on each RAC database node in a multi node environment.
4. Retest ADOP prepare phase and confirm it now completes successfully.
